Armella Rollheiser

I have been a member of St. Theresa's Council, Rosetown, SK for 34 years.  I have held the positions of Treasurer, Secretary, President (3 times), Past President, Communications Chair, Education, Organization, Spiritual, Community Life, Archivist and liaison between CWL and Pastoral Council numerous times. Organized Regional Gathering Days held in Rosetown (3 times). Assisted in organizing and chaired two Diocesan Conventions.  Also chairperson of our 50th, 75th and 80th CWL Anniversary celebrations.


I am a Lay Formation Graduate from Saskatoon Lay Formation Program (1992); also completed four years studies in Diploma in Ministry Program, St. Francis Xavier University of Antigonish, NS. I have taken a theology class on-line from Newman College in Edmonton (2000). I am and have been involved in ministries in the parish (Eucharistic, pastoral Care, RCIA, Development and Peace (25 years) parish representative and Deanery Leader, Lay Presider, Facilitator for Small Faith Communities.
Diocesan Level- Treasurer (2 terms), Secretary (2 terms), Councilor (4 years).  Facilitator for Field Worker's Program.
Provincial Level- Treasurer - (2 terms) - 2003-07; Secretary - (2 terms) 2007 - ?.


I was awarded the Maple Leaf Service pin in 1981 for outstanding volunteer work for doing the Sunday bulletin for our parish for 12 years.  Have been a member on pastoral council numerous times as well as chairperson for three years.
Community involvement - I am  member of the Rosetown & District Health Centre Foundation, board member of Rosetown Housing Authority.  Organized and facilitate a local Cancer Support Group, as well as a Peer Support volunteer for Canadian Cancer Society for approximately six years.
Hobbies- enjoy golfing and gardening in the summer time; bowling and playing cards during winter months, travel when time or duties permit.
