Monica Beavis

I was born and raised in Saskatchewan and have made my home in Saskatoon since 1963. I began my career in Nursing at St. Paul’s Hospital and continue to be a strong advocate for Catholic Health Care. I was appointed the CEO of the Catholic Health Corporation of Saskatchewan, a position I held for approximately 8 years. I am currently serving on St. Ann’s Nursing Home Board of Directors.


St.Paul’s Cathedral Parish CWL is where I have been a member for over 25 years. I firmly believe that the CWL Council plays an important role within the parish community.


I am presently working in Nursing Administration for Bayshore/Nightingale Nursing gradually easing into retirement in the next few years.


John and I have four daughters and have the pleasure of having our five grandchildren in Saskatoon. I am in the second year of Lay Formation and really enjoying the opportunity to expand my knowledge of the Catholic Faith.


Gardening, music and spending time with family are activities I look forward to in my spare time.
