Opening Prayer:

Leader: Let us pray to God in the name of Jesus who has promised to be present where two or three are gathered in His name.

All: Come Lord Jesus, fill our hearts with the power of your love.

Leader: Blessed are you, Loving God. You are our wellspring and omega point. Your spirit binds us together in respect, dignity, and service. Gather our community together now and in the future.

All Respond: You are the One who gathers us, loving, compassionate God.

Side One: Blessed are you, Creator of All that is! In your image we are made, In your likeness you fashion and form us.

Side Two: Your breath gives us life that we may know you, O Creator. Day by day you pour out your love to us, that we might see the beauty of all you have done.

All Respond: You are the One who gathers us, loving, compassionate God.

Side One: Blessed are you, Steadfast Lover! You are ever faithful, your promises endure through all generations.

Side Two: With a love spilling over its bounds you draw us to yourself.

All Respond: You are the One who gathers us, loving, compassionate God.

Side One: Blessed are you, Gracious Giver of Salvation! Your great power wells up within us to be our strength, to be our hope, to be our glory.

Side Two: With your mighty arms you shelter us in times of distress.

Side One: You go before us that with your grace we may win victory over death.

All Respond: You are the One who gathers us, loving, compassionate God.

Side Two: Blessed are you, Source of all Compassion! You tremble as a mother gives birth.

Side One: For when we, your people, suffer in darkness, you bring forth light and life.

Side Two: The warmth of your love for us melts away fear and sadness. You bring to new birth the dawning child of mercy.

All Respond: You are the One who gathers us, loving, compassionate God.

Side One: Gather us now into one holy union. Give us the grace to look beyond all divisions.

Side Two: Show us the oneness that we are called to be.

Side One: Guide us to the source of all community. Infuse our hearts with one desire, and bring us to the fullness of your one love!

All Respond: You are the One who gathers us, loving, compassionate God.

Leader: In communion with our Savior, Jesus Christ, and with the Holy Spirit, who remain our guide, we, your gathered people, give you all praise, all honor, and all glory, for by your gracious love, we are a holy people for all generations, world without end. Amen

Leader: Blessed are you, Spirit of the Living God
We ask your blessing on our convention as we learn
And live together as your kingdom community.
We ask you to bless the Saskatchewan Provincial
Council of the Catholic Women’s League and its
members in whom we are in special union.

All: May our time together be a reflection of all that is good within us. Grace us with joyful moments in the midst of our days, enliven our spirits with humor, fill us with reverence for one another and gratitude for our diversity. May unity, beauty and truth be the fruit of our efforts. Gather us in your love.
